Have you ever looked up what percentage of the budget is actually made up of these social programs? It is not large compared with bloated defense and social security - which you benefit from too or will.
Not saying we aren't taxed too much - we are but not because of those programs, it is because of our need to be the world enabler for our corporations and to give them corporate welfare and tax breaks.
