Antique toys... Antique toys may actually be a good idea. Since most people have no clue if they are looking at a $5 toy or a $5,000 toy. But like sports cards, I'm guessing the book value may be $5,000 but you would be lucky to get $3,500 for it? Maybe some real rare stuff would hold/demand a premium. old cracker jack toys are easy to conceal and worth a fortune to the right dealers and buyers. Probably a catch 22 damned if you do damned if you don't. Will those buyers be alive after a big event? I like PMs since they have always had value since the beginning of time. But obviously like you said, they can be taken easily in a shtf scenario.
