I'm sure a new drivers side front door (plus paint), the bumper and two new windows is going to cost a lot..... We're still trying to wrap up Christmas......my nice car...we saved for SO long to buy it outright - not even a year ago =(......cant have anything I guess.....so upset right now. I dont have the money to fix it, and 3 kids.....I cant drive them around in a vehicle with two missing windows in the cold......why can nothing go right?!?! If they don't have what you want, most will put out a search among their associates and will let you know when they find your parts. Are there any auto fixit guys among your family & friends? See if they will do the labor on replacing the windows & whatever else and give you some sort of payment plan. In the meantime find a hardware store that will cut off some window sized pieces off of a roll of thick clear flexible plastic and duct tape it over your missing windows. It is better than using garbage bags to drive around with, but you ought to use garbage bags temporarily to keep your car dry inside. But, you have no idea how long we saved for this vehicle.....months and months, just so we could not have payments. It's the nicest vehicle we've ever had, even though its not really brand new or anything. I have 3 young boys.......cant have them in a car we missing windows.....even though it does run......trying to finish xmas stuff....now this......just worried about how im gonna pay for it all......if i cant get my kids what they want for xmas it ll break my heart...they're so good..... i'm just upset....its new....idk...hopefully things will work out "Live each day like it's your last, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like no one is watching." Quoting: Ralph--a house dog ^Totally This^ Our neighbor's house was busted into and he covered it with plexiglass...that stuff is just as durable, if not more, than glass. He fixed the window but left that on. No more break-ins. I understand what you mean about the cost. It was one of the reasons I got rid of my car. Too expensive to fix the problem even though she ran like a champ otherwise. I don't miss her all that much, though. Insurance went down. No more need to put aside money for gas. We just have a different schedule now to compensate using his car and my dad's. I will pray that life leads you to a solution that works for you. I pray that this season keeps you safe.
