However, welcome to the adult world of adult problems and disappointments. Give yourself a pass on a big Christmas for the kids. They may never suspect that it could have been more or bigger. Kids are resiliant. My daughter had what she(as an 8 year old) considered a disappointing/bad Christmas, and now years later, she has no memory of it while I still feel sick thinking of it. Pull together as a family and do your best and move on. You have every right to feel frustrated and upset but don't dwell upon it. |

We can wait on paint and the back bumper (back bumper isnt bad really - just want it done eventually for looks sake to be honest). We are supposed to pick that up Monday. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 21160675 United States11/30/2012 03:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | FML - husband slid off the road - drivers side door is dented in...cant even open it.....both drivers side windows shattered...bumper not too bad but should be replaced too......thankfully that's the only damage and it didnt bend the frame or cause it to not be able to run....but where the hell am I going to come up with the money for it?? I'm sure a new drivers side front door (plus paint), the bumper and two new windows is going to cost a lot..... We're still trying to wrap up Christmas......my nice car...we saved for SO long to buy it outright - not even a year ago =(......cant have anything I guess.....so upset right now. I dont have the money to fix it, and 3 kids.....I cant drive them around in a vehicle with two missing windows in the cold......why can nothing go right?!?!
