Selling a vehicle - thoughts?
I have listed it on pretty much every site I can think of and not one call except for brokers. ugh... Anyways, I wonder if I should park it in a Home Depot parking lot close to my home that gets a ton of traffic? Anyone have better luck selling a vehicle by parking it somewhere on a busy street or business? I wonuldn't leave it over night, just during the day. Thoughts? Thanks!

Yea. No bites. What are the chances of a vehicle getting stolen in a parking lot to a busy shopping mall? It has an alarm and steering/gas pedal lock? Maybe I would just leave it there for a few hours? The Home Depot is only about a mile down the road...

Few are buying luxury stuff anymore unless its a huge bargain of a deal. You might have to give them a great deal on it. Its the only way these days...

I was thinking that maybe the clientle who may want this type of vehicle don't use craigslist, etc. If I park it in a lot for a few hours facing a very busy street, should I list the price on the for sale sign? Currently I have no price on the sign, maybe that would weed out everyone calling me? The Home Depot is in a strip mall and the very edge of the parking lot faces a heavy traffic road. Walmart, etc. all in the area. I don't think I would get ticketed or towed? Especially if I go inside and buy something? Thoughts, experience?

I don't think anyone really reads the paper anymore in this town. Unfortunately, it would seem the money from this town comes from one illicit activity... I'm sure you can guess...

It’s the wrong time of year to sell a vehicle to close to the holidays. The peeps have no extra cash now..... The best time is around tax return time

Re: Selling a vehicle - thoughts?
You should use a reputable broker dealer who has insurance

and consign it with them. They have alot of options to sell

it including taking a trade-in and financing.

They could also take it to the wholesale auction for you

Pretty good actually...if you do this get a zoombak or something similar to low jack the car. You can plug it directly into the battery or hide it inside the dash to keep charged. The only thing you have to do is run the vehicle every few days to charge the battery back up.

Nobody wants a truck, gas is too expensive. You're probably asking more than it's worth, too.
