it comes mainly from:

1) the fear that CHRISTIANS put in us, by exploiting that PRIMAL fear of the unknown, and twisting it to imply that god would really inflict horrible torture on us.

AND

2) the emotional legacy of our parents and parental figures, who were a type of deity to us when we were in our most formative years.


isn't it natural to feel anger and resentment when you're threatened with some terrible fate, and told it'll be all your fault?

only humans foster fear in others to gratify themselves.
