i think you are confusing pride or a selfish look at yourself vs loving yourself so you can love others unconditionally

I agree. Look at Britney's new video totally saying we are coming into the golden age. Christians and Muslims both must realize they must love another to change this world for good. Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself. But if you don't love yourself, how can you love your neighbor?
