Actually I knew the quote was inaccurate but didn't feel the need to harass the OP. They are just stating it from their memory and it's the thought that counts. Maybe it's how they interpret it duh! Not everyone is perfect. They just opened the door to discussion and research.

You don't know what they are doing by altering peoples(like Einstein's) words.

They want to shape history as they deem fit, not as history is.

Notice how it says "idiots" in the quote? Who would that galvinize?

Before you know it, Einstein was a fully devout Christian. Why? Because some retarded quote said so and I was too lazy to look it up. Because some retarded quote said so and the retarded quote got copy pasted millions of times and I was too lazy to challenge it.

Ok I see what you mean. I just thought you were trying to be nasty and I see so much of that here. I think you could have been a little bit nicer and just posted the real quote or something. I love Einsteins quotes I'm fairly certain I've read them all. I don't know if people mean to twist quotes (maybe some do for an agenda) but certainly not the vast majority I think a lot of people just have bad memories or they repeat it how they understand it they simplify an otherwise complex or complicated quotation. I was not trying to be snappy with you I just wanted you to see you were being a little bit mean in my opinion.

Einstein is a real favourite for misquoting.
Many people seem to think he was an Authority On Everything.

I wonder if that includes his views on politics, considering his socialist leanings.

He was well worded that's probably why and came off as kind and accepting. I am more interested lately in Tesla because of free energy.
