You could very well be locked into a time loop where you are reborn into an infinite cycle where you have experienced the same shit over and over but never remember but at times it leaks into your awareness and you go oh shit, that makes sense like its happened before and it fits everything I think I know but don't really know cause its all to weird to be real but there it is.

well, lets ask philip;)

from his exegiesis:

“What i realized is: true existence requires experience of both Yang and Yin: i saw them as two rings, a bright one of light (yang) and a darker one of Yin. but the latter still real and necessary…What was expressed last night in my vision of the dark-or darker-ring-or circle-of yin is that, as Ted Sturgeon speaks of, you voluntarily incarnate (e.g., as i did in 1928 as PKD) to deliberately experience Yin: creatoreal, irrational existence here (as bodhisattva) in order to know and to be Yin. the Yang side is the bright unfallen side and in salvador salvandus, ones other-and rational-self, who enters in order to rescue the Yin or limited or darkened, incarnated self. this is why the in-breaking of the Yang side (2-3-74) is anamnesis: recovered memory of ones own lost true self. this is also as extricating yourself from the maze by first being outside the maze-i.e, having solved it. otherwise, fruitless horizontal tracking goes on forever, once (voluntarily) incarnated you are stuck there (here) forever. so i am a unitary whole now, with one part as a direct antecedent from the upper realm (Thomas) and one (PKD) from the lower realm.”

You ever have a dream where it gets stuck and you know its stuck as you try to free it up so it can continue but the more you try the more resistant it becomes to you breaking it open.

Then you wake up.

Life seems to have that same effect as one streams the dream till you die and wake up here again. To do it all over again.

Suppose you realize this, suppose you know its bullshit and you want out but your trapped in the dream.

Do you kill yourself next time around, do you kill others cause you know its a never ending dream cycle or do you live the life sentence throwing your wishfull consciousness onto the simultaneous strength and weakness of faith and hope.

"The phosphenes link our species to theirs. For us, phosphenes-stimulated coherently-permit us truely to see, overcoming our patial blindness. For them, who are deaf, they can see sounds- in particular music. But the communication bridge is established by the fact that color and music (light and sound) are equally based on math."

The video is a twist to the events of the WWII if Germany would've won the war and Germania were stablished rather than USA with its neo-fascism. I posted this because Dick beloved time as we know it (or knew it) ceased to exist during Roman empire 2000 years ago. And another theory says there's a loop happening during the 40's. If Romans invented the virtual reality, this altered reality of nazis makes we wonder, specially considering Nazis borrowed a lot from Romans including the double-headed emperial eagle, etc. Dick believed in a world ruled by tyrants... USA as a matter of fact hired Nazis (Operation Paperclip)...

Re: Reading Philip K Dick and the Resulting Strangeness in Reality
Once again, I have finished another Philip K. Dick book (The Divine Invasion), and once again, my reality has become stranger than normal. This happens to me only when I read Philip K Dick. Granted, his books do make you think about the fabric of reality, but I have read many authors like him and none of them affect me like his writing does.

Synchronicity sky rockets. My eyes reach a word on the page and someone unaware of the book I am reading says that exact word at that exact moment. Songs on the radio seem to be there for me, like theme music to my life. Things that happen in his books start to happen to myself, or I read or hear about those same things happening elsewhere. I feel so lucid, not only mentally sharper but my vision is sharper, like someone squeegeed my eyeballs.

My theory is that PKD did indeed tap into the source of reality and fed that information and way of thinking into his writing, so that the reader starts to pick it up and do the same.

Or, perhaps I am just as crazy as he was.

Anyone else afflicted with PKD syndrome?

OP (or other fans of PKD):

I have quite a number of PKD books but have yet to dive in. Which do you recommend most highly?

ZEBRA

“Valis only comes into existence when mind is exteranlized and superimposed onto outer reality; only then does the message (i.e., Valis) come into existence” and: “it is an equation between my mind and the external world.” and: “we are each parts” and: ” its a kind of vortex”
Valis-where is it? it is not in the human mind that sees it.
it is not the world.
its is both-superimposed as one. it is neither (alone)
it is an event, when the human mind-the self-superimposed itself in union (syzygy) in the world. Which is to say, when Atman and Brahman become another universe higher then either. (either alone)
