WHY WILL CHRISTIANS BE BEHEADED DURING THE TRIB??

The Muslims love to behead people. Maybe a connection to them.

hi,thats the only explaination i can see for it.i hear they did alot of it during the french revoloution....maybe some kind of connection going on.

Possibly a virus, which can spring up at anytime, and is boringly all too familiar, not like the fantastical ideas of WW3 or aliens we love to hear.

I have a scar on my forehead from hitting my head on a concrete tunnel on a playground at a Christian school when I was 5. I also have a scar on my hand from where the cook at the same Christian school bit me. At least I'll be able to glide around undetected.

As to the 'why' in the thread, in John 16 it says this

Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God. And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me. But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you.

Sounds like the work of Islam to me, as well. As far as this being prophetic goes, we could say that this has already happened. There have been many Christians already beheaded in recent years because of the Muslims.

I was wondering about what is happening in Damascus right now.

In Isaiah 17 it says this.

An oracle concerning Damascus.
Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city
and will become a heap of ruins.
(Isaiah 17:1 ESV)

But it doesn't stop there. Isaiah 18 is entitled 'an oracle concerning Cush,' Isaiah 19 is entitled 'an oracle concerning Egypt,' Isaiah 20 is entitled 'a sign against Egypt and Cush,' Isaiah 21 is entitled 'Fallen, Fallen is Babylon,' Isaiah 22 is entitled 'an oracle concerning Jerusalem,' Isaiah 23 is entitled 'an oracle concerning Tyre and Sidon,' and Isaiah 24 is entitled 'JUDGEMENT ON THE WHOLE EARTH,' and Isaiah 25 is entitled 'God will swallow up death forever.'

Whether all of these prophecies will be fulfilled in order or how much time will be allowed to go by between each of each judgments I can't say. It just seems that the destruction of Damascus is the beginning of God's judgments that will eventually happen worldwide before the end as recorded in Isaiah 25

He will swallow up death forever;
and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces,
and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
for the LORD has spoken.
It will be said on that day,
“Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us.
This is the LORD; we have waited for him;
let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
(Isaiah 25:8-9 ESV)

If all of these things happen quickly and Damascus does indeed 'become a heap of ruins', the end of this world as we know it may be upon us all very soon. If a period of time happens between judgments, I guess we can look forward to a long period of suffering ahead for all nations!
