Quoting: AlcoholicRunner It looks like it worked. Perhaps we should follow their model on how to handle drug addicts. [link to www.businessinsider.com] Great idea! |

Let's keep this war going because spending more money jailing people for using a harmless naturally growing substance is really working. We'll jail every single of those crazy dopehead rapists and keep 'em in jail till they rot. We can't afford not to. Won't someone PLEASE think of the children. Pot is not that bad, but the hard drugs shouldn't be legal... They won't be "legal" they just won't be "illegal". The use of hard drugs will not be pursed by the legal system but by the medical and mental health establishments that will help "users" get off the drugs. People who use the drugs won't feel criminalized and will be more likely to come out and express their drug usage more freely and, if they so choose, will find the help they need without feeling as though they will be thrown in jail if they do. Thus it isn't "Deillegalization" it's "deCRMINALIZATION", basically you aren't considered a criminal under the law but it is still technically "illegal". |
