I'm in Asheboro and it was crazy. Dozens of them at a time visible and I saw something I can't really explain. It was from what I could tell a somewhat low flying plane, maybe like 15 to 20,000 feet. It had at least 5 WIDE trails coming from the back end of it, it may have been 6 trails. It left a massive billowing cloud behind it, and was not wispy like normal jet contrails. I could see where it started and where he stopped. The strangest thing is there were two flat dark grey jets, similar is looks to a passenger jet but maybe a bit smaller. These jets flew at a lower altitude but we're in formation, perfectly flying right beside each other and staying with the plane flying higher up. I've never seen anything like that before.
