Edgar Cayce-Satan. What an idiot you are. Mr. Cayce healed many people and you have the gall to call him a satanist? Get some help moron.

There are many scriptures telling us to have discernment concerning the spirits and people who follow them.

Satan is a master of disguise...even comes "appearing as an angel of light". But I think research on Cayce clearly tells of his pursuit of the occult that is in opposition to God.

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders...

If anyone could pin this, that would be much appreciated. I think this thread can reach the unbelievers in a big way, they love their science and facts, well here they are.

They wont touch this thread because they know it comes with a catch.

The minute they reply you will be into them with your usual arrogance and pride, and haughty self rightoue smugness, and begin to tell them how this amazing scientific God is also going to torture them forever if they dont give in to your haughty smug threats of hate and revenge on all who are not as holy and smug self obsessed and utterly up themselves as you are.

Hate filled reply of doom and death and destruction in..

Christians have no confidence in self, but in God. They trust God just THAT MUCH!

Php_3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Then a Christian can have a surety that does come from God that is unmatched by anything else one can lean on. Don't attack a Christian for this. No Christian is "special" by any human definition. They simply find rest and want to tell of a beautiful relationship with God THAT YOU CAN HAVE, TOO! Just believe... truly God is misunderstood.

Heb_3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Heb_3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Act_28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence

Heb_4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

What if you simply decide to investigate for yourself, to see if this is so...?

Here's a weird test....

Take two books. One a regular book of some nature. The second the bible. What you do is you read one and see how it makes you feel. Maybe even hold it close to your heart. Then do that with the bible. I believe you feel a noticable difference with the bible. If it was any regular book then it wouldn't draw out such an emotional response in the reader, which it tends to often do. What I'm driving at is this, your gut, your 6th sense tells you whats' true and what's not. If you tap into that and use that on the bible to determine if it's real it will tell you. And the answer is yes it is all real! It has all the answer to the creation of the universe and what it's all about. So you don't have to guess any longer.

The Book of Gilgamesh (of Sumer, pre-dates the Bible by millenia) alone holds "Evidence" that the Bible holds "borrowed" information from earlier civilizations.

This is common knowledge. I personally believe Sumer, Egypt & the Indus Valley region inherited their knowledge from earlier advanced civilizations before the end of the last Ice Age, but thats just opinion as of now.

This is only example of discernment. You are aware that he followed Madame Blavatsky's teachings to some degree. If you follow that trail, you will see that, along with his reported church attendance, he trailed off the Word of God with the teachings of Theosophy, which is contrary to the Word of God. Within the broad field of "Christianity" there are those who can lead others astray. That being said, there is a difference between developing a discernment and being judgmental. A Christian is not to judge but to "rightfully discern that which is right according to the Word of God". However, if you believe Cayce was of God, then I assume you to be Christian and know the Word of God yourself. Research God's Word in comparison with Cayce. See if he follows the teachings of God's Word closely, as we should follow God's Word and not stray from that "narrow road".

Not sure what you are calling irony. If I didn't answer correctly, I'll try again if you explain.

Pray directly to the "God who is really the one true god" and study both the Quran and Bible side by side. After all, you are talking about your soul and eternity. Better to make sure the god you follow is the right one. Let it not be about your own reasoning but, instead, ask yourself "Which of the two god's is the right one?" Study. Allah wants you to kill Christians and Jews and anyone who doesn't believe in Allah. Jesus gave his life so that you can have life.

Archaeology in the land of Israel is a compelling topic! You'll find answers to Bethlehem there. Not, to mention, the Palestinians have tried to destroy many, many sites in the land.

Yes, you are correct. King Herod died in the B.C. period. If you'll do a bit of research on the birth of Jesus and the creation of the calendar, you'll find that Jesus was born B.C. also!

Without getting into a pissing contest with you allow me to shed some light (no pun intended) on your post. The word "Occult" means Hidden Knowledge. The Catholic Church (put together the bible you read and have been pedaphiles since jump street) made any "Hidden Knowledge" (Mayan, Inca, Celts etc..anything not in THEIR BIBLE) a Heiracy ergo death by fire, thats if you were lucky. So when a johnny come lately Christian Bible believer has a negative spin on "Occultism" I tend to take-up the Occultist' cause and shed some ancient light on their twisted and self-serving "religion..Too much? ha

False that Daniel was written after the events, there are answers to all so-called contradictions and with an all-powerful creator there are no such things as impossibiliyies or absurdities. What a poor choice.
So go ahead and gamble away your eternal existance.

If I didn't answer correctly, I'll try again if you explain.

lol Einstein also read Blavatsky. And if you haven't even read outside of your "beliefs" then wtf? Theo (God) Sophia (knowledge) Theosophy was first pinned by the Neo-Platonic schools of Greece. These pre-date "Christ" by centuries for heavens sake, don't just parrot something someone told you.
If Christ was truly a well read individual he also read & understood these basic facts. gez

I am well studied, thanks. Know your gods well. Have you for a certainty, obtained the knowledge that you are safe eternally? I was well-trained in occultism in the 90's. But, I discovered occultism to be just that-occultism, not Christianity. And, yes, luciferian "angels of light" are pervasive in this world and their doctrine woven into the fabric of certain people in the "intellectual" field. "Smart" by rational standards does not mean that they are right. Again. Discernment.

So when a johnny come lately Christian Bible believer has a negative spin on "Occultism" I tend to take-up the Occultist' cause and shed some ancient light on their twisted and self-serving "religion..Too much? ha

No contest like that here! hf
Yes, you are correct about the meaning of the word "Occult"

However, there is more than one meaning to the word "Catholic"

I'm assuming, though, that you are talking about the Roman Catholic Church, of which I am not a part. You may do research on the many different bibles that have been used throughout history, but that would be meticulous for the sake of conversation here.

The Roman Catholic Church has transgressed God's Word throughout history, all in the name of God. They were wrong and even the Church has admitted to it to various degrees.

There was a reason for the Reformation. I think you'd find that "assuming" anything negative about God based on what the Roman Catholic Church did years ago would be in error.

I have not judged your level of intelligence but it seems you want to attack Christianity. Profoundly, a rhetorical "why?"

The CC is not accepted by bible believing christians as legitimate reps of the faith, christians follow the bible (the books that were acknowledged as scripture before the CC decree)and judge everything according to what is therein. This is how we know what to classify as occultic and false.
