OP, I would advise using marijuana no more than two or three times as frequently as a serious psychedelic trip, barring health problems.

There is an entire world of wonderful chemicals available thanks to heroes like Alexander Shulgin.

If your life is full of intellectual stimulation and free time, as well as a friend(s) with a strong spirit to be with you, it can be worthwhile to trip once every few days to two weeks. Most people are more towards the two to twelve week range though.

I don't know how marijuana affects the pineal gland but if you're worried about it, stop drinking fluoridated water, using fluoridated toothpaste, and do some om chanting. It apparently creates resonance in your nose bone (don't know the medical term for it) which 'stimulates' the pineal gland to release the good stuff, and I've heard it helps break up the calcified bits but I haven't seen any published studies stating that so don't quote me on it. But do an om, and you'll feel the vibrations in your skull. It's oddly relaxing, though I can never be bothered to remember to do it.
