How would they "detect" it unless they saw it on your dashboard? Don't follow. ...besides...that thing above is POS. Last Edited by Useless Cookie Eater on 11/30/2012 07:01 PM |

Don't risk it in ozland OP - all police radars have the ability to pick up all detectors. This is what the NSW Motor Traffic ACT (4 AD) says about selling in NSW: 1) A person must not sell or offer for sale, or purchase, a prohibited speed measuring evasion article. Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units. "$1346 is the current infringement penalty for it and nine demerit points off your licence." |

Quoting: Rickster58 The police have in their arsenal a device that can detect most radar detectors (RDs) - all digital radar detectors except those that are stealth. And by stealth we are not talking about one that is hidden, we are talking about one that is electronically undetectable by the police Radar Detector Detectors (RDD's) |
John Doe (OP) User ID: 28763076 Australia 11/30/2012 08:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Escort Redline radar detector is Escort's most sensitive (greatest range) portable radar detector that is also 100% stealth. Shielding all emmissions means that no matter what upgrades police do to their RDDs (radar detector detectors) they will not be able to detect this unit. |
