The Arrogance Of Hypocrites
There are always boisterous and proud people ready and willing to throw insults and cast judgment on those who have fallen and failed. This is nothing new - and these particular people feel vindicated in demeaning others by drawing attention to their failures. However, it is important to understand why these people are so adamant in their ridicule of others.

Often the loudest finger pointers are the ones most guilty of the fault they are complaining about in another. They see their own failures in another person and it threatens them, it forces them to look in the mirror (even for a brief second), and they lash out to hide their own internal guilt, shame, and insecurity. People like this tend to live a very unfulfilled life, as they are often brimming with unwarranted spite, hatred, and contempt.

No one is perfect, and we all fall somewhere along the spectrum of imperfection. In most if not all cases, we are wrong because we hurt someone else in one way, shape, or form - either intentionally or with indifference. As we grow into adulthood and we learn to reflect on our own failures and shortcomings, we either choose to hide from and deny our weaknesses, or we choose to confront them and change. The former choice will often yield a hypocrite, while the latter choice results in a compassionate, mature, and loving human being.

The choice is and has always been yours.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." - Revelation 21:4

Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood.

An entire thread dedicated to deriding and chastising a group of people with a decidedly "holier than thou" attitude.

You're a Christian, aren't you?

What happened to turn the other cheek?

Fuck off.

Don´t know who 1 stared you, but gave you 5 stars.
You nailed it on the head.
This explenation should be shown anytime one of these Hypocrites post something.
What they hate is their own image in the mirror, they can´t stand others, that force them to look at it, that´s why they want to punish on one.
You won´t be making much friends with that statement, already sounding out some it seems.

He's making an excellent example of himself.

I'm simply illustrating the reaction one can hope to procure with such arrogant words.

In my experience, I have discovered that to avoid becoming the very thing that you are trying to preach against, try not to come across as superior to your audience. Take a human stance of imperfection but striving towards perfection.

You win more bees with honey than you do with vinegar.
And if you want to win humans, you can only do with sincerity and love.

If people don't think that you actually care about them, they are not going to respect ANY thing you may have to say. Real talk.

I understand what you are saying, but a topic like this will always elicit an undesirable and hostile response by those it most directly applies to, no matter how nicely drafted or humble the message is. If I came across as arrogant myself - that only proves my point even further. I know there will always be those who cannot receive the message without attacking the messenger, but the message is still received nonetheless.
