Do you ever feel like you're living in a science fiction novel?
Sometimes I really do feel like somewhere, somehow, I've fallen into the middle of a science fiction novel, but I'm not one of the main characters!

The gang of people who could see, building their fortress, and protecting it. Not that I have but vie seen similar setups on Doomsday Preppers.

Indeed. Open our eyes and spines and poison gouge them. The blind and the terrified struggle to perceive each other. We're in it all right.

To all here, since I'm still alive after all, and especially Aunty Flo judging by what material of yours I've read. You may want to go see a website known as the SCP Foundation. It is a giant wiki of glorious nonsense, yet the SCPs are an excellent modern piece of science fiction. It is of the same sort of general theme as with this forum here: only no "nobody" "scarred woman" "alert: you will die" nonsense perpetuates. They (the SCP's) instead describe theoretical meme-based objects; but they are incredibly scientific and well-thought out pieces of fiction.

I was watching total recall today on demand. The new crappy one.

After it went off, the news was on.

And one of the top stories was called...

"Rise of the drones"

It was about how they are building fish drones and cheetah drones, etc.

It was freakishly similar to the freaking movie I had just watched.

FYI The plot of Total Recall revolves around a bad guy building an army of robots to kill the population and replace the workers.
