This Morning I Saw Black Beams Striking The Ground in NC

From my perception they were about twenty miles or so from me and when hitting the ground would engulf about half a block in the city but thats just my perception and could have been much smaller and closer or much larger and further. When I say the were fizzy I mean like electricity but black. Thats the part that freaks me out so much. I am a technician and work with electricity on a daily basis and have been hit by it many times but I never saw it as black but did see at in this fizzy type manner. Almost as if it was a electrical charge in slower motion.

The origin was the same spot and somewhat large but it struck in many angles but none seemed to be parallel

I saw a black line in the sky last night looking up at the moon, the sky was clear and me and my friend could both clearly see the black line almost like a clearer view of space.

What do you mean by a clearer view of space?

I wasn't able to capture one of them in my pictures so I can't confirm that they looked like yours in photo and what I saw were much larger beams but they could be the same thing I suppose if that's what they look like in photo

"Strike" the ground?

My buddy has seen this too but it was just streaks, not strikes. It was explained to me that it was something to do with air pressure or humidity or something creating the dark lines.

I think he's pulling ur leg. Those photos look like they've been colored with magic markers... then scanned.

I didn't think about video, I don't use many features on my phone so it didn't enter my mind at the time but I just figured out how to use the video and definitely will if seen again.

shadow of contrail especially seen at an unique angle from viewers perspective.

whether it's a normal contrail and/or something more nefarious is anyone's guess.

lol there were so many today you had to notice it. I wouldn't have even seen what I saw had there not been so many trails
