Good deal and they have been well maintained. Quoting: anonanon 4148733 As for car, have had really good luck with Nissan. Last one lasted for 13 years and the one before that was 10 years old when it was totaled in an accident. Volkswagon is also good and good on gas. You might even for look for a used Prius so you can drive on the cheap. yeah ok 7500 gas at 3 bucks so about twice the mileage of average shitboxers so he will need to drive his used prius 250,000 miles before he breaks even and starts saving money. LOL find a ford f 100 straight six buy that and spend the left over money on guns food and silver , gas won't be around much longer for the peons anyways. |

If you are set on a car and not a truck, you can get a very reliable Camry or Corolla that will run forever if you take care of it and it has no major problems to begin with. Or you can get a Civic or an Accord that will also run forever. Want something fast and reliable? Look at 2002 and older Nissan Maximas...you will be surprised at the performance. But I suggest a truck. It provides transportation and can be used as a work vehicle. In which case I recommend a Toyota Tacoma or a Nissan Frontier. Great reliability. The Toyota will be more expensive because it is rock solid. |

If you buy from a dealer, you are just paying extra for everyone involved in the transaction to make money. Waste of money. It is going to take some time to find a diamond in the rough. My last used car took me about 7 months to find. And it was awesome. |

And even by todays levels of quality and reliability, American brand vehicles are still behind the Japanese. Just because Ford has caught up a bit, doesn't mean they have surpassed the Japanese quality. For reliability you still cannot beat Toyota/Lexus. |

Invest the rest in gold and silver. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27413131 Don't buy an old American car, because it will cost you more in repairs than owning an old Japanese car. Subarus and Mercedes are not worth their higher selling price, and also are a lot more costly to repair (which will be practically guaranteed on any used car) than Honda or Toyota. |

(Insert "Overly-Manly Man" Here) Fags. And Fakes. Or better yet! Everybody rush to tell the 17 year old that he should get the same car YOU drive/drove/was your 1st car because yours is, of course, THE best. OP, Fuck you too for seeking approval and advice from people your parents age. Go ask your Mom. You're not going to walk away with whatever you've dreamed up in your mind. FATMANGOBOOM User ID: 14376568 Canada 12/01/2012 02:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Spend no more than 4000 or 5000 on it... do not spend your maximum amount on a used car... Go to a dealer that is well known... Do not by a sports car or a red or black car... BUY a 4 DOOR can not stress that enough... cause 2 doors look kool but cost more and your friends getting in and out will not be a pain in the ass.. the money you don;t spend you can use to make repairs when they come up and they will come up... take it to a mechanic you know ask them too look it over... Remember this... it is your first car you will bump it you will scratch it your friends don;t give a rats ass about it. GAS cost money 4 cylinders cost way way way less than a 8 or a 6... Insurance plays in to all of those as well... a car is for getting to and from places that is all... Your first car is a bumper car... it is the 2nd car you get that you love and wipe dry with a diaper... Cheers man good luck eh... Don;t drink and drive do not toke or smoke and drive... stay insured and remember... Bad drivers are not assholes... they are just that a bad drive... due to nerves, poor skill, or tired... Careless drivers are another category all on its own.. Cheers eh |
