How many here actually enjoy getting up in the morning?

The moon wakes me up in the morning during this time of the year.

I only work one day a week and don't always have to get up early even on that day. Depends on the work schedule. Although I still enjoy getting up early the other days with the kids to get them off to school.

My kids get me up, and I'm generally in a good mood.

I havent set an alarm for 20 years...the sun wakes me up and I get up to the sounds of nature...the joy, the joy.

Then the rest of the world starts to wake up and my illusion is gone

My life has taken some major turns lately. Some of it has lots to be happy about, other aspects not so much. I only hope there is a happy medium in the future. But it does seem like the mornings are the worst part of the day. I wake and look to see how many more hours I get to sleep. Never did that before.

At 53 I'm like a teenager--I want to stay up late and sleep in, then I regret not getting enough sleep.

The only time I loved waking up in the morning was when my Daughter was new, it was like Christmas every morning to see her.

If my morning couuld usually begin around 9 am, I'd be happy.

Some mornings I have to get up at 4 for work, some at 5.

Most mornings I have to be up by 7:30.

Do you have some kind of spiritual practice? If not, you might want to consider starting one (like silently sitting in nature a few hours a week). This allows you to connect with source. If you don't do it, you'll be up at night and there's not much else to do but contemplate your navel, this is b/c source wants to connect with you, to sustain you. So set it up to do during the week or leave it to the default of middle of the night, the choice is yours.

I always loved getting up for my kids..now my grand daughter when she is around it makes me so happy! she's such an angel.

I never get enough sleep so I hate waking up.

If I can wake up when I want to, then it's fine. But that's a minority of the time.

It gets worse as you get older. Weed helps.

I have extreme sleep apnea. I wake up gasping for air over and over almost all night. I sleep 12 hours and wake up exhausted. Waiting to get machine to sleep with.
