It means they are beaming her with some electronic shit. Just like the other space bizzo they made fall down when she was talking about how amazing the ufo's are in space. Their technology is a couple thousand years beyond what you can imagine. As far as most eaters should be concerned, they can do anything.

It didn't seem excessive. My own blinking while listening wasn't much different. It could be that there was an air current from an ac vent blowing in her face, making her eyes feel dry. The fan across my living room is doing the same to me.
