Happy Friday evening Jukebox!

I made it through the long day of clock watching :-)

I love this band, I have had this on CD for years and could never find it on youtube until just now when I looked again!

Awesome! It's wonderful that you inspire the love of music in your children.

I have two boys and they love music as well, the little one mostly copies his older brother's taste but he also is developing his own taste as well.

My little one is 9 next Saturday and he is really into Metallica but his most recent obsession is Pink Floyd The Wall. He's too funny because he found my Wall CD and disc two was missing from the case, this is because his older brother took it and lord knows where it is now. I bought him a Pink Floyd "The Wall" t-shirt to surprise him with on his birthday!

Hi Cutbait!!!

It's good to see you! I hope all is going well with you! Happy Friday!

I'm glad you liked it, I really love Driveblind, they are no longer together. Their singer Terry McDermott has such a wonderful voice, he actually went on the show The Voice and lost, what a conspiracy against talent, I tell ya!!!

I about wore my Driveblind CD out listening to it.

Here is another one I love by them :-)

OMG! I have tried to get my girls into Pink Floyd to no avail, but yet my eldest has taken possession of my dark side of the moon fleece blanket as a corner wall covering xD Appreciation of the artwork is something, at least...

I listened to 'The Wall' religiously from the ages of 6 to 9, on account of my older brother's influence :)

Mine are spoiled in one way, what can I say... 14 and 12 years old, have been to 14 concerts each. It's a selfish venture, less so to teach, most so about me being able to see a show without being alone...

Who can resist the Dark Side of the Moon artwork!?!

Pink Floyd can be an acquired taste for some, for sure!

lol, my best friend's little sister bought the 45 of Another Brick in the Wall and played it over and over when we were younger and it drove us nuts, that and Who Shot JR??? We wanted to strangle her...years later when I wouldn't stop playing Pink Floyd at my parties she (little sister, all grown up) was like, "hey, you're bringing the mood down, put something more upbeat on." Too funny!!

That's great! I haven't even been to a concert since....don't laugh....Pearl Jam, right after Kurt Cobain died even...I suck at going to concerts anymore. I used to go when I was a teen a lot though. Neither of my boys have ever been to a show. Metallica was playing here recently and I thought about it but I can't imagine the Hairy Eyeballs I would get bringing an 8 (almost 9) year old to their show.

lol, fk that... my eldest was 8 when i brought her to see bullet for my valentine, puddle of mudd, and three days grace... and she wasn't the youngest there by far,,,

lead singer for puddle of mudd was having a hard time, throat infection and shit, had cancelled the previous two concerts on their tour...

he gave up about 15 minutes in when the crowd wasnt helping sing much, got pissed and left stage, came out and started trashing equipment... (which i loved to be able to see, btw :D)

a guy a few rows back from us in the pavilion started cursing up a storm, talking about how he wanted his money back, how much bullshit it was, etc...

my daughter turns to me and asks, 'what's that guy's problem? he got to see them, right?'

I love your taste in music!!!

Back in my concert going days I had the curse of being next to the drunkest person that couldn't hold their booze...puking everywhere...at many, many shows. Strange that!

Nice chatting with you!

Oh damn, that sucks, is she prone to seizures?

I never got to see Soundgarden, was a huge fan of course. So sad about Chris Cornell. I was reading earlier that his wife said he'd told her that he'd taken a couple too many Ativans that day, she doesn't believe he was at all suicidal but that the Ativan might have be a big factor. Really heartbreaking. He has three children and she said he would never want to hurt them by doing that. I can't imagine their pain right now.

I love the newish song he came out with Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart, but I can't look at the video now, it's too much with the hanging.

I still love the song...found a version with just lyrics instead.
