The mount was in the shape of a bird flying west and all around the mount were thousands of clay balls - most the size that could fit in a man's hand. No one knew their exact purpose. . |

Here is how... - Purse your lips very tightly, like you are about to blow - Make a very tight fist - Press your fist very tightly against your lips Now for the painful part. This is going to hurt. Your cheek muscles are going to be on fire. And you may have to try it a few times before you get it right. Younger people with stronger muscles can do this more easily. Guys like football players and bodybuilders are best suited for this. Weaker people may not be able to pull this off. - Blow as hard as you can for as long as you can - Do not let any air out though. Keep the air your mouth - Keep blowing against your closed lips. The purpose of your fist is to keep any air from leaking out of your lips - Finally, when you can't take the pain any longer, take your fist away and blow out a little air gently. If you are lucky (and you are in a well lit room or a dark room next to a bright light like a lamp) you may see a puff of smoke! I have done this many times. It works. Some people believe this is proof that some creatures of old, who had unbelievably strong cheeks muscles... could superheat air in their mouths to the point of being able to breath fire. So the existence of 'dragons' is by no means out of the question. |

Ive done this before.. some people say its smoke being released from the lung of smokers, others say its the compression of humidity from the body condensing into fog/steam.. but what its not, is smoke from internal combustion. Quoting: Casper28 It is superheated air. The work done to compress the air is the energy that increases the temperature. |

They were ammunition to be hurled at the Piasa Bird, of course. That dragon bird that plagued the Illinois Indians at that time. |
