well I haven't done much reading on the subject, although there are many books out there to read, here is one to add:

describes the lineage of of the first ruling dinasty. It starts from Attila (approx.406-453), listing his descendants. Attila's son Csaba, Csaba's son Ed, Ed's son Ügyek, Ügyek's son Előd, Előd's son Álmos, Álmos's son Árpád.

as this also shows, historians put Álmos's birth at 819, but don't show the years for the lineage between him and Attila. From Attila to Álmos it's 366 year (give or take, I used the death of Attila, not sure when Csaba his son was born) so in these approx. 360 years, there were 4 generations. they usually give about 30 years for a generation on an average, so even with this estimated number we get 4x30= 120 years, there is no way that about 360 years have passed between them.

now I don't say that you have accept this chronicle, I'm not saying it contains the truth a 100%, but it does corresponds with the phantom time theory quite well. it leaves about 240 years unaccounted for, which I know is still not the same amount of time Illig questions. but keep in mind I used estimated years for the generations here, so it can be different, put it's still pretty close.

I think whoever wrote the long article you posted, needs to cross-referrence with Tom Horn's research on the whole 2012/Mayan Calendar deal. Was it Clyde Lewis who wrote the article, by the way?...boy, can HE put a pen to good use!!!
