Yep...just different ways to live a life.
Understanding it is probably just another small factor that affects the quality of the experience.

The nine of us (me, myself, and I from the past, present, and future) should then be able to come up with at the very least a coupla bizarro answers to the universe...  *skips off to wonder about that for a bit*
