(not tap water it will kill the beneficial bacteria). I've been taking it for 2 yrs. and it's helped a lot with heartburn and joint pain. My weight stays in check without dieting ever. I've also noticed more color and a healthier glow to my complexion. I don't know if the ACV has anything to do with this, but I'm 38 with no gray, no cellulite, and very few wrinkles. |

Anyone know the benefits for hair? Nevermind: Thread: Apple cider vinegar is making my hair grow back! I didn't click on that thread, but I've used it on my hair as a natural shampoo/conditioner. I believe it can help make your hair shiny as well as possibly cure dandruff. I'm not sure a topical solution of ACV could actually cause hair to grow though. |
Laura Bow User ID: 1158661 United States 12/02/2012 04:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Laura Bow Yes Heinz just recently started! It's not as good as Bragg's BUT...at least you can buy it at Walmart lol. I have been doing coconut oil, like you, and that is definitely good for yeast overgrowth as well. At first, when I switched to Nutiva from a cheapie brand...WOW, I was so sick from the detox even though I was taking the same dose, the cheapie stuff was not as good I guess. Do you have celiac disease? I'm pretty sure I do have it. I have a ton of the symptoms I haven't taken a test to confirm yet though. I do know if I eat the wrong things I feel pretty awful for a couple days. It's unfortunate because it's a lot of the food that I actually really like especially pizza but I try really hard to stay away or I wind up with joint pain, headaches, extreme fatigue etc Do you get tummy issues when you eat things or is it moreso the joint pain, headache, etc.? Hmmm, it could it be you may just be suited to a lower carb lifestyle? I low carb and if I go off-plan, depending on how much I eat, I may have the same symptoms the next day if I overindulge a bit too much lol. It's moreso joint pain. It's a nightmare because it takes my productivity level way down to zero some days. I also notice that I am forgetful and feel foggy as a result. Maybe it could be a bunch of things. I actually went and made a checklist of things I want to get checked for so far I've suspected Celiac, Lyme Disease, Diabetes, Candida, Thyroid issues, and vitamin deficiencies. Would certainly suck if I have them ALL! haha Only kidding to have just one or two is quite a nightmare on it's own lol What is your daily diet like? Perhaps you are eating the wrong things. I used to feel like that but now along with the coconut oil I take vitamin B12, it really seems to help. |

It made my hair much easier to style. |

I go through phases where I eat really healthy it lasts for awhile then I get stressed out and then go crazy on junk food and quit caring lol I'm going to take extra coconut I take one tablespoon a day but I'm going to try for 2 or 3 and I'm going to give the B12 a try right away maybe it will help me too!!! :-) ooops I'm adding this in I forgot to ask what kind of B12 and how many milligrams do you take? Have you ever tried doing low carb? I think it may really help you. I go through my eating phases too, so can understand. Be careful about doing too much coconut oil at once, I thought I did well when I had some cheapie stuff that was extra virgin organic I bought from Puritan's Pride but when I switched to Nutiva and started adding more, WOO! Now I can take multiple tablespoons a day no problem (about 6 or so usually) but at first, I was SOOOOO SICK. My bottle of B12 is 3000 mg. |

But really, I used to do the table spoon in water about 6 times in a 24 hour period for gout flair ups. Seemed to help, but not near as much as real black cherry juice and not eating meat for a few days. Also, I stopped drinking beer and switched to vodka. I haven't had a flair up in almost 4 months. I take no medications and have done minimal diet changes. I think it was all the beer. -Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |
