It's a nightmare because it takes my productivity level way down to zero some days. I also notice that I am forgetful and feel foggy as a result. Maybe it could be a bunch of things. I actually went and made a checklist of things I want to get checked for so far I've suspected Celiac, Lyme Disease, Diabetes, Candida, Thyroid issues, and vitamin deficiencies. Would certainly suck if I have them ALL! haha Only kidding to have just one or two is quite a nightmare on it's own lol What is your daily diet like? Perhaps you are eating the wrong things. I used to feel like that but now along with the coconut oil I take vitamin B12, it really seems to help. My diet is pretty horrible I have mostly coffee and sweets. I go through phases where I eat really healthy it lasts for awhile then I get stressed out and then go crazy on junk food and quit caring lol I'm going to take extra coconut I take one tablespoon a day but I'm going to try for 2 or 3 and I'm going to give the B12 a try right away maybe it will help me too!!! :-) ooops I'm adding this in I forgot to ask what kind of B12 and how many milligrams do you take? Have you ever tried doing low carb? I think it may really help you. I go through my eating phases too, so can understand. Be careful about doing too much coconut oil at once, I thought I did well when I had some cheapie stuff that was extra virgin organic I bought from Puritan's Pride but when I switched to Nutiva and started adding more, WOO! Now I can take multiple tablespoons a day no problem (about 6 or so usually) but at first, I was SOOOOO SICK. My bottle of B12 is 3000 mg. Now I know specifically what to look for thank you!!! ahhhh that's weird that it made you sick! I wonder what in the world is in the crappy ones :-o The first one I bought was the LouAnna one from the grocery store and it was extremely gross!!! :-o "Only one candle left to burn now, before the darkness comes" "Happiness consumes itself like a flame. You might just get someone drinking it from the bottle. ;) Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28923050 ACV is very acidic, never ever drink it straight. 1 tbs/2x day diluted in water for sore throat gargle. Also do NOT brush your teeth right after using ACV, swill the inside of your mouth/teeth with water instead since brushing right away can bring on tooth sensitivity from compromised enamel. Folks have said ACV is very hard on the GI tract. This I'll tell you, ACV IS very effective remedy for ridding of budding ear infections that originate from the throat into the ear, gargle & spit a couple times a day. Experience here, ACV is a powerful antibacterial, use it with respect and you'll get great results. |

I bought some from Heinz (they now have one with the mother) but also have Bragg's which looks to be a better quality. Unfortunately my stomach doesn't react too well, but occasionally will drink it with water, a drop of sweetener, and apple pie spice. Quoting: Laura Bow Great tip. Never thought to add spices. I will try that. Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves? |

We should crave what is healthy. But, same is true with cigaretts, and other addictive substances. Unfortunately there isn't a test for being sensitive to carbs--the only way to cure yourself is to stop eating them. You only suffer a tad for a few days then the cravings are gone forever. I'm wondering about the ACV treatment for athletes foot--diluted or full strength, same with worts? Read this.... I don't have a problem with overeating, but after experiementing with ACV noticed it was 3:30 pm and forgot to have breakfast..didn't feel much like eating at all. |

I wonder what in the world is in the crappy ones :-o The first one I bought was the LouAnna one from the grocery store and it was extremely gross!!! :-o Sure thing! I bought Nutiva on Amazon, but the B12 came from Walmart, it's whatever brand they have. I have Spectrum but that is deodorized and is a bit more processed. I think the cheapie stuff I originally had was NOT as strong as Nutiva, dunno why because it was supposedly the same but I guess you get what you pay for. The sickness was probably yeast die-off, I had gone through it before when I started taking the cheapie stuff but because I increased the dosage plus had a decent brand I had to go through it again. It was worse that time, but I figured it was better to just trudge through it. LouAnna is the yuckiest kind I think, I have never purchased it but I don't think it's very good from what I read. Let me know if the B12 helps! |

Quoting: stillhere I had toe nail fungus for over 5 years. I tried tea tree oil and some 'fungus' remedy but nothing worked until... I saturated a big wad of cotton with vinegar (plain white distilled from petroleum vinegar-the cheap stuff in the gallon bottles). I put that around my big toe (the one with the fungus nail) and wrapped a plastic sandwich bag around it. I would leave it on for 2 hours or until my toe started hurting. I don't know why I started getting the pain in the toe from this but anyway. I did this for a week or 2 and the nail cleared up. [warning, graphic lol] I also would clip the nail & dig out the gross stuff underneath the nail so the vinegar could get in there better. I imagine ACV would be much better for this. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25489646 The best kind has the "Mother" in it still. It contains all the vitamins and minerals. I take it daily as well as coconut oil and molasses. I feel so much more energy sometimes even immediately after drinking acv. The longer you stick it out with all of the them and the more consistent you are the more they pay off. :-) How do you fix up the coconut oil & molasses? Just pour into a teaspoon and ingest, or do you make a "cocktail? of sorts? |

I put a few spoon's full of ACV in a glass of organic apple juice every morning as my "coffee" and it definitely energizes me. Been doing that for 2 weeks and lost around 6 lbs. Not much change in diet either. Oh and putting it in apple juice is just the "right" thing to do. It tastes absolutely awesome. Like apple juice with a small bite. |
