I have heard that the good stuff gets killed in the store brands and you have to get it unpasteurized. I heard Braggs is a good brand? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25489646 The best kind has the "Mother" in it still. It contains all the vitamins and minerals. I take it daily as well as coconut oil and molasses. I feel so much more energy sometimes even immediately after drinking acv. The longer you stick it out with all of the them and the more consistent you are the more they pay off. :-) How do you fix up the coconut oil & molasses? Just pour into a teaspoon and ingest, or do you make a "cocktail? of sorts? I take my coconut oil mixed in with my coffee, just plop it in and it melts on the top. Some people eat it straight but I cannot do that, but you can also make it into a type of "candy" with cocoa powder, sweetener, peanut butter and eat it that way as well. |

Prevents mastitis and gives them shinny healthy looking coats. Good stuff, take some twice a day myself, great for skin and seems to lift immune system, others may get colds or flue but never seems to bother me. |

It was well publicized in the 80s that it caused sudden, sometimes fatal stomach ulcers that can hemmorhage. It was taken off the market/9as Naproxyn) and brought back out about 10 years ago under the name Alleve. Try ibuprofen, 800mg-4tabs, much safer. Whatever you do, take NO Tylenol products. |

Acv as well as lemon are acids but they turn alkaline in the body. Acids break down the food in your body in order to digest the food so some doctors claim that heartburn is a result of not having enough acid to break it down properly. One thing if you get that stay away from tomato at all cost. Red pasta sauce especially I've nearly went to the er before thinking I was having a heart attack not fun. Beer, liquor and dark soda are also a nightmare. "Only one candle left to burn now, before the darkness comes" "Happiness consumes itself like a flame. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28996045 Immediately made it worse. lol Acid reflux / heartburn is caused too LITTLE acid. If there is not sufficient acid to break down the food you've eaten (as there often is not if you overeat, which is why heartburn usually goes hand-in-glove with overeating) then the food (and the acid mixed in with it) cannot move on through the stomach properly and can "back up", like a clogged sink, into the throat where the acid burns the tissues.
