I AM FREAKED OUT! HAS ANYONE EVER SAW "TOMORROW'S CHILD" ...THE 1982 MOVIE?
[link to www.imdb.com]

I must say, I am a little freaked out.
This movie was on today at 7:30am on Fox Movie Channel, or FMC.
I had been wondering if there might could be a way for these test tube babies to be "farmed" like crops by artificial wombs outside of the body. Well, this morning, after getting up early on my day off, sick, I went into the living room and turned on the tv I found an old thirty year old movie called "Tomorrow's Child". I freaked out.
It is literally a play book for how they had began to use artificial means to "grow" life, human life.
I had had some real questions regarding how some people have been involved with seeing secret underground laboratories that have this type of technological program going on.
I just felt like my question was being answered by watching this movie.
Here is a link to an IMBd movie synopsis and even the cover to the movie is shown and looks strange....like a ufo with lights.
It's all too much so early in the morning.

I feel this type of program is going on right under our feet, so to speak.

Right after this movie was "TOMORROW MAN". Another freaky movie. A shape shifting alien. So strange.

I faintly recall seeing the movie but its been awhile, OP.

From my understanding, projects involving arificial wombs (and cloning)for various purposes have been going on since at least 1930.

Cloning, yes, but the artificial womb is what I find so strange.

[link to en.wikipedia.org] artificial uterus (or womb) is a theoretical device that would allow for extracorporeal pregnancy or extrauterine fetal incubation (EUFI)[1] by growing an embryo or fetus outside of the body of a female organism that would normally internally carry the embryo or fetus to term.
An artificial uterus, as a replacement organ, would have many applications. It could be used to assist women with damaged or diseased uteri to bring the fetus to term.[1] This can potentially be performed as a switch from a natural uterus to an artificial uterus, thereby moving the threshold of fetal viability to a much earlier stage of pregnancy.[1] In this sense, it can be regarded as a neonatal incubator with very extended functions. Also, it can potentially be used for initiation of fetal development.[1] Furthermore, it could avail for performing, for example, fetal surgery procedures at an early stage instead of having to postpone them until term of pregnancy.[1]

Yes, I agree (it is strange), and there are moral and ethical questions involved. Although, think of the applications for good: premature babies, high risk pregnancies, women who are unable to conceive, etc. So, there's potential for good in the development of artificial wombs.

Interesting subject for sure. The 80's had lots of fun movies and series in the sci-fi genre. Otherworld is a fun series you might wanna check out. [link to www.youtube.com]

Hope you feel better OP.

God knows indeed what goes on in secret. Some aspects of scientific "investigation" and "experimentation" are more evil even than satanism.
