The only way to stop hordes of illegals coming North is to topple the corrupt Government in Mexico and to bring down the Cartels who support them. Mexico is rich in Natural Resources but corruption prevents it from benefiting the people and being put to good use.

I applaud any REAL movement by the people of Mexico to reclaim their country and to take it back from the corruption. If anyone wants to see an end to illegal immigration, Mexicans must take their country back. If there was any kind of real Revolution in Mexico they would leave this country enmass once their side started winning.

From what I can tell, Mexicans never had much of a chance to grow a strong middle class. The whole country was sucked up into corruption, their currency raped, and Mexican PTB stole anything that was left.

An old joke: Mexico City's Chief of Police, when asked by a journalist how he could afford a $2 million dollar mansion on his $15,000 annual salary, replied: "Thrifty habits and careful investments."

I hope there is a revolution that will result in Mexico's great wealth finally trickling down to ordinary people. (Oh, wait--that doesn't always work that way does it?)
Anyhow, I know many Mexicans hate the PRI--not that the other party did all that much more for them. Will be watching to see what happens.

Sadly, most Mexicans don't have guns. I don't see how they can win in a direct confrontation unless some other country backs them.

They could, I suppose, engage in guerilla warfare which is often effective. Or espionage, such as subverting their overlord's servants or sneaking in some loyal to the revolution, and eliminating them. But that's the stuff movies are made of. Realistically, oppressed Mexican citizens are going to have a difficult time.
