Most protesters are going towards the Zocalo by now. There they will stage a larger protest that will go on through out the day apparently. Nickops Ustream back up. |

And you guys saying we need to fix things: well, let me tell you we are trying. We now have the most powerful mafia in the world. The richest man, together with the bloodiest gang members operate in one of the most lucrative business circles. Drugs, weapons, telecomunications, oil, coffee and cheap labor. The problems in Mexico are the problems of the world. For the US it is obvious, for Latin America its mostly drugs and telecomunications. For Europe and Asia, the problems influence the economy, the drug trade and the flux and competition of cheap labor together with the demand of sweatshops at a convenient location. We are now in a global system and butterfly wings are flapping everywhere. We all need to participate and defend human rights everywhere, if not it will catch up to you anywhere. |

Quoting: Zedakah Monopolies. Carlos Slim, richest man in the world made a huge chunk of his fortune through telecomunications. The service is now available throughout SouthAmerica and growing. He is constantly avoiding monopolistic laws and is known to be a corporate bully with little scruples. |
