Message Subject New Discoveries Are Proving the Bible's Global Flood

A global flood is impossible, the atmospheric pressure created from that much water in the air would make breathing impossible. There would be so much water in the air you would drown by the simple act of breathing in.

There is also the problem that there is not enough water on all of planet earth to flood the entire planet. It would require about twice as much water. Which is not possibe.

Then there's the whole problem of the flood annihlating on plant and microbial life on the planet, thereby making the reconstruction of the food chain impossible.

I was told that during Noah's time that it had not ever rained.
That is why the population around Noah laughed at him for making a large boat.
It was God or the Creator that caused the rain to happen.
Annihilating plant and microbial life?
Floods happened today, big floods- this doesn't ruin plant life or microbial life does it?

I have read that many cultures have a version passed down
though the generations of a great flood.
The Bible in my opinion is a history book.
 Quoting: Shelia Deville

It wouldn't matter if it had never rained in 5 trillion years, if there was that much water in the atmosphere to be rained down, it would be impossible to breathe. Period.
As for plant and microbial life being destroyed, yes normal floods do not completely destroy the ecosystem they occur in, but a flood that has waters that reach miles into the sky (as it is said in the bible the flood covered all the land on the earth, even the tallest of mountains) and last 1 year (the rain lasted 40 days, the flood waters stayed for another 320), would completely and utterly wipe out all the plant life in the world.
All the waters on earth would be diluted with salt from the rising ocean levels, which would then deposit the salt into the soil after the waters receded, thus killing the remaining plant life and would make regrowing new plant life nearly impossible.
The entire top soil of the world would be completely out of place, entire forests would be doused in mud and dirt (Which was picked up and floating in the water) .

The entire ecosystem would be destroyed, and nearly all animal and plant life (with the exclusion of some deep sea animals and microbes, which would soon go extinct because of the lack of a stable ecosystem) would cease to exist.
