One wonderful lesson my Mother taugh me when I was a little girl was the following:
A man had a donkey..and he didnt want the donkey to carry his heavy weight so decided to walk instead of riding..

along the way he met some people and the people saw him walking instead of riding the donkey..and he heard them murmur..look how stupid..he sould be riding instead or walking..

so the man thought he had better listen and ride the donkey

so he rode the donkey

along the way he met another group of people..and they seeing him on the donkey started to murmur..

look at that lazy man..making his donkey suffer and toil when he should and could be walking instead of riding..

so be true to yourself..and try to please God

for NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO someone will always find fault
