Like i said the bible dose not say that. the book you quoted is not a bible. When you posted from the KJV that is the correct translation. Now look up comforter in the greek.

It says the same thing. Another will come who will testify about Jesus and they will remain.

You've got yourself a Comforter, who is someone who tries to make you feel better after terrible events

How is that the same thing?

The word used there, as here, signifies an "advocate", and is so rendered, 1Jo_2:1, a patron, one that pleads and defends, the cause of another, before kings and princes; so the Jewish writers (z) use the word פרקליט, the same with παρακλητος,​ here, and give this as the sense of it: and which agrees well enough with the work and office of the Spirit of God, who has promised to the apostles to speak in them and for them, when they should be brought before kings and governors for Christ's sake; and would so thoroughly plead his cause and theirs, as to convince the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; and who acts the part of an intercessor, or advocate, for private believers, in prayer to the King of kings: but inasmuch as it also signifies a "comforter", and this being agreeably to the present condition of the apostles, as before observed; it may be most proper to retain that sense of it here, who is explained to be the Holy Ghost; which is a more clear and explicit account of him than before, and very distinctly points out the third person in the Trinity, who is in his nature holy, equally with the Father and Son, and the author of holiness in all the saints:

He is The Prince of Peace, the TRUE prophet of the Father. The Muslims claim this passage Yeshua was talking about Mohammed. That is a lie, Mohammed IS the False prophet and his system IS the BEAST. The Holy Spirit, One of the Triune of God that comes to live within you. The Comforter, Teacher whom Jesus promised all who accept His sacrifice. He is who testifies about the son of God from within you, He is the wisdom through whom we gain the knowledge and understanding of God and the purpose of Christ and eternal life.

It is to this Spirit of Truth, to whom one blasphemes when they do not believe, for then they are calling Him a liar; this cannot be forgiven, for if one does not believe, then this lack of faith is what condemns them because Christ's blood cannot cover the sins of one who does not accept, believe or is grateful.

God cannot give a gift to any who refuse it, and allows the free will of mankind to do so, but if one desires and is willing to know, then the Holy Spirit will reveal God's truth.

This of course, to those who believe, otherwise you know the drill.

Does counselor mean lawyer?

Did John mean " another anointed one" will come in between the resurrected Jesus....and second coming?
