lots of people are narccist, most mature out of it somewhat
and can be socialy accepted. Those that don`t live in a fantasy thinking they are popular when infact their frendships are hanging by a thread.

Carry on young son,, I just dumped a best friend weeks ago for his selfish behaviour towards others I don`t wanna be around or acociated with such nonsence.

Amazing how this friend was just emotionaly demolished when I pulled the friendship rug right from under his feet

See thats the fantasy I`m talking.

He thought I was his convenience for a couple years. I being the master player here, was well aware and charting his pathetic moves. More alert players read body language, feel emotional vibes and are more alert than evidenced.

The end result ended in no convenience at all (for him).

I guess it takes one to know one, hopefully I`m the matured reformed narccist and not in that fantasy myself..

I`ll try.
To me it means becoming aware of ones own behaviour towards others and modifying that behaviour where one identify`s their own narccisist thoughts coming into play in the mind.

For example the narccisist often uses the words "I" or "me" to ad neausm
while boring the ears out of the person listening.

A reformed narccisist is carefull not to use the "i" and "me" words too much and is well aware not to dominate any convesation about themselves.

Ass a narccisit conversations are mostly one sided in their ears, they may listen to the other persons tale or experiance but the thoughts in their head generaly are wondering when they can get this conversation back around to themselves and they don`t even remember the story the friend just told.

Thats the worse part of being a narccisist is that you get to miss out on being a close and helpfull friend to others.
When all is said and done, and the end is near, Those friendshiops where all that realy mattered all along.

It`s a terrible terrible loss for a narccisist, but they don`t find out till the end.

Not sure if I answered your question, but a reformed narccisit has a lot to gain when they truly awaken.
