Georgia summers are hot as hell and twice as muggy. The country is full of obnoxious rednecks & the cities are full of obnoxious minorities.
Asheville is a great place to be. Not too expensive. Quite a few new microbreweries are opening up. Decent number of tech jobs too. People are laid back and nice. Winters not nearly as bad as what you're used to in CO. Summers are really nice.
