What is so troubling. I don't know the author, I don't know if you do, but just because he contributed a story to the Baltimore Sun, doesn't mean his source was valid.

Did he specifically say his source was the police department? If not, I don't believe him at al.

Earlier it was suggested that the echo in the feed was because of the microphone. If this is the case, is it still echoing because he left the microphone behind?

Police have been trained to be violent. My neighbor, when I lived in NY, told me he was leaving the department and moving back to the state his family lives in because of the training he experienced after 911. They are training police to act first and think later and fearing them that if they don't than the mob of people will potentially kill them. No BS
