Tell her you would rather take her on a good vacation and just buy an Avon ring. My sister did this and all of the women at her work said "your husband must really love you to buy such a beutiful ring". She had a great vacation at Clearlake and all of the women at work could not tell the difference at all.

Make sure your values are the same and you are honest or don't get married. You don't want to marry the wrong person. The right woman should have the same values and want similar things for your future, if there is any doubt don't do it. You don't seem to trust her, so don't do it.
