Is religion a mental illness? Or does it exploit mental illness?

Until such time as god/jesus get off their asses and actually DO something, it's going to be more of a losing battle for him/them everyday.
Getting someone to write a book to validate your existence when you're more than capable of announcing your existence yourself is ludicrous.
