My dentist gave me way too much N20 when I was about 12 years old, and I floated up to the ceiling, flipped around 180 degrees and was watching the dentist and assistant work on my teeth. After a while the assistant freaked out and said I was not breathing and it was all elbows and assholes as they were turning valves and pumping pure oxygen into the tubes. It didn't take long and I shot back into my body like I was shot out of a cannon and the next thing I know I was opening my eyes and they were asking if I was alright.


Weird thing was I was not freaked out at all floating above them watching. This was my only out of body experience, and was probably close to not coming back. I have read where dentists had over dosed patients on nitrous back when it first became popular and killed a few.
