Well...related to the Euro economic collapse that others have mentioned... If eastern europe should fall into chaos perhaps Russian swoops in to restore "normalcy" and just decideds not to leave... Maybe it's already been predetermined what slice of the Euro pie Russian is going to get by TPTB and they're staging their forces where they can easily execute their plan...
