There's a difference between the poor and parasites.

If you believe welfare recipients should live better than those who actually pay to feed them you're insane.

I think that they both (the working poor and the non working poor) should be brought above the level of starvation. Eating ramen noodles is starvation. There are no nutrients in that product and that lack of nutrients cannot be replaced by anger alone.

I do not think that bringing them all down to the level of starvation is the solution. But then I don't like the idea of people starving, while I'm sure there are millions against me that think many people deserve to starve.

I don't know of any states that have a picture. The point is that a lot of these cards are issued to people that are unable to retrieve the food for themselves (the elderly, ill, and those without vehicles). They are able to be used by whomever but, the food is supposed to only be eaten by those in the home.

Furthermore, whomever claimed it was 'fraud' to feed other people with that food is ridiculous. The point of the program is to make a family 'normal'. therefore, if Billy is having a birthday party and mom is going to provide pizza and soda and chips of r the kidd0s, it is perfectly acceptable to buy those with the card. If aunt Matilda comes to visit, she is welcome to share in the family meal.

I worked as a social worker for several years and had people comment when they saw me use a card for a home-bound parent- to bring them groceries when there was NOTHING in their home to eat since the mother could not get to the store and the children were too young to go on their own. The person using the card isn't always the recipient.

So this man who living on noodles and works isn't aloud to get angry when people who don't work come in to the store he works at and buy steaks,candy,liquor, and lottery tickets with the taxes he pays into the state to feed those who are actually starving?

I have been working since I was 15, and I am now 63. Have been a professional field all my life. Have recently had to obtain food stamps. I am one who looks nice, drives a pretty ok car, keep my nails, hair and makeup looking nice.

This is a temp situation. If there are those who choose to judge at the checkout line, then guess whos problem that is - that is between them and God.

There are enough fields in the US to feed ALL of the people in it. This is not a case of a limited pie where some people must starve in order to feed others.
