My guess is that the world's economies will collapse around the end of the mayan calendar. Governments want to down play the whole end of the world jibe 'cause they know people are gonna go crazy thinking the end has come, and really it has.

The whole fiscal cliff confrontation is just to make it look like they tried to avoid it, but they know there's nothing they can do. They're trying to position themselves to blame the other party. Once the dust clears it'll be more readily apparent that it doesn't matter, there will be no return to economic prosperity this time. The great depression will be considered child's play by comparison.

I think the date was fixed by the Vatican when they got hold of the Mayan Library in the 16th Century. They used mathematicians to make sure the Mayan long count finished at a time and date that suits.

No I do not think it is the calendar date of the Mayans or any of their written thoughts or understanding of their own knowledge at all.

That is and already over ruled law or manner or way before it was ever created to make any appointments unto any world or men of this world.....even by any things of the cosmos elements.

This is not to say that 5 million people chose so many numbers for their pick 5 and not one of them chose the same numbers another one did also.

We only know they did when they hit to winning numbers.
