I was just outside and the feeders were swarming with all different kinds of birds. All is well and normal in Kentucky except for the warmer weather... Its 66F here today... nice and warm... unusual for December. Oh well I'll take warm over cold any day _______________________ |

No, I love differing opinions and solid 'to the contrary' reports, just responding to your reply of "there's no doom causing"... You sound very certain that this IS the case. I would much rather be proved wrong. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 763216 United States 12/02/2012 03:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Temps in the 50's for the last two days, went for a hike up the Clinton River yesterday and all we saw was a flock of ducks swimming. Three hours of hiking and not one single bird! Same thing today, temps in the 50's, door wall wide open, not one single bird flying around, not even a chirp, strange... Quoting: siniXster Anyone else noticing the same? Kinda think if you wanted a discussion you might give a location. How the heck are we supposed to know just where is your Clinton River? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28167778 United States 12/02/2012 04:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | this is the time of year when we seem to get bird die-offs. It has happened twice about this time in Arkansas, Missouri. Here in Delaware lots of birds flying, flocking. If it is anything abnormal, I think it is more tied to your location than to fewer birds. Do not mean to sound scary, just mean it could be local conditions. Keep us posted. |
