My wife and her friend have been experiencing this for the past few months. New moon, full moon, new moon, you get the idea. I wondered if this is a phenomenon that many women are experiencing, but don't talk about it. (At least to men.) Thank you ladies for your comments.

I don't know about it OP, but maybe there is something going on, like 2 ovulations per month? The moon is powerful with the moon stall eclipses ,etc. It seemed that it might be more widespread, maybe an insight to something larger happening.

It's been happening to my daughter the last two cycles and she's on the pill! Period starting a week early and lasting two weeks. Mine have been normal, but I'm getting close to menopause.

Well, I cannot say I have that happen but I can feel when I ovulate (unfortunately), and believe I may have ovulated twice this month. My hormones feel much stronger this month as well.
