Me too, getting either none, or really late and hardly anything. I'm on the pill and usually like clockwork. This is, weird. Out of this ugliness may come, Some day, so beautiful a flower, That men will wonder at that hour, Remembering smoke and flowerless slum, And ask-glimpsing the agony Of the slaves who wrestle to be free- 'But why were all the poets dumb?' -William Montgomerie So many gods, so many creeds, So many paths that wind and wind, While just the art of being kind Is all the sad world needs. -Ella Wheeler Wilcox |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 28536911 United States 12/03/2012 08:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mine have been dead on every month for the past 4 1/2 years, no pill, tubes tied. However, I started freaking out about 2 weeks ago because I had not started yet. Thought I may have been pregnant, took a test, negative. Finally started today, but WTF, almost 3 weeks late? Something strange is going on...Mom and sister are having the same issues... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 7318080 United States 12/03/2012 09:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As a male, like the OP, I have noticed how quickly my female half's period came this month. A very heavy period that seemed to arrive way too fast. Way too much anecdotal information on this thread to ignore. This is the best thread I have read on GLP in a while. Thank you for the input ladies, and I mean that in a sincere sense even as I chuckle. This is a very telling sign. |
thesleeper User ID: 24167029 United States 12/03/2012 09:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've actually posted on this before. I'm about every 18-20 days. Last year I started this thread.. Thread: A question for GLP Women From a GLP Woman Nothings changed in the year. The youngster said angrily " If our founding Fathers could see what is going on, they would roll over in their graves!" The Ol'Timer shook his head and smiled. " No, they would be grabbing their guns". WANT CHANGE??? Quit paying your income tax. |

They normally don't cycle in the short days with less light. They broke my Stallion out whom I had moved under the barn for winter. I don't normally have to worry about such things this late in the year. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21098952 My Dogs are all in heat right now also. I mean all of them. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16213681 Let's face it, this is new to womankind altogether..along with all the other 'new to man/womankind' chemical nightmares imposed on us every way we turn. I wish it was primordial, magic and delicious, personally I think it's collective new insults to our bodies compliments of various corporate interests in (killing us? combined with who-cares-no-restrictions-anymore). We do not understand the full extent of how PLASTICS have changed our environment by disrupting our sex hormones. |

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome User ID: 25237221 United States 12/03/2012 10:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm 35, I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I don't have periods very often at all. I have a period MAYBE once a year. When I do have a period, it's usually a few days of light spotting. I've had the same box of feminine products for four years.... I haven't had a period for almost two years, but since November I have had two..and not only have I had two, the last one I had (TMI ALERT) the flow was so heavy I became alarmed, I was in the bathroom every hour changing femine products and even that wasn't enough. I was also having clots the size and thickness of my index finger, and larger. I've been scared I could have ovarian cancer, this thread makes me feel a bit better, but it also concerns me. What on earth is going on? |

Period starting a week early and lasting two weeks. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28948241 Mine have been normal, but I'm getting close to menopause. ^ Exact same story for me. Began about September. Thought the pill should keep them "regular" lol....odd so many women having same issues! |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1405546 United States 12/03/2012 10:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Sun controlling the cycle of female menstrual cycle is a real conspiracy you won't hear much about. I assure you all, on my word, it is real. Take it for what it is worth, if at all. We will all find out soon enough any ways. I have a feeling "revelation" isn't doom, rather, it is revealing. What on earth is going on? Those clots sound big! If I were you I would go to a doctor. After I gave birth a few years ago I was told to go to the doc if I had clots that large, so I don't think it is normal. Good luck. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 26795689 United States 12/03/2012 11:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had 2 periods around July/August. Periods have also been longer. Just finished one that lasted 15 days. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27666882 does that mean that your thing bleed for 15 days? Well, yeah. What the hell do you think we're talking about here? |
Deiradella User ID: 5531319 United States 12/03/2012 11:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mine went bonkers two years ago. I used to be as predictable as a clock, every 30 days. Now I go anywhere from 19-37 days and have the same length cycle twice in a row maybe two times. They've lightened considerably too, shortening by two to four days. I'd put it down to peri menopause, but I'm only 31. |
