The way I understand those events, there were two reasons the angels rebelled and fell 1) Satan was puffed up and thought he would rule heaven and 2) they were angry humans could procreate.

Obviously God created the angels with free will ability to sin same as the rest of us and many did just that.

Because they bought into the understanding that forcing man to obey the laws of God was the better choice to rein in this world. Were not the angels responsible in the order of this world. Is not Gods plan to allow man to have "FREEWILL"? Of course it was and its a shame more humans do not understand this. It truly is the the key to all of our spiritual cleansing!

Sex is good, but better than Heaven?

The reason as I understand it is that those angels didnt choose to come down here. They were forced too. You see angels were not created with free will. Satan was an angel before he fell. His name is lucifer. Do you know why he fell? When god created angels he made them "perfect" in his image, without free will to challenge him and his decisions. He made them totally complacent to HIS will. However God got sick of this and he created MAN, who he gave free will, the ability to think for ourselves, the ability to create life, plus many other things angels didnt have. Lucifer asked god why he cared more about us humans and why he gave humans all these things that angels didnt have rather than the "perfect" angels that he created first. God got angry at Lucifer when he asked this question because angels are not allowed to go against gods will. They are not allowed to question god and his decisions. However lucifer wasnt the only one who believed this. There were other angels who believed this too. God Threw lucifer and all the other angels who felt this way out of heaven as a punishment.

Because of this Satan grew to HATE and DESPISE the human race and god. Satan swore that he would get revenge on god for casting him out, took his fellow fallen angels and created an army. He swore one day he would return to heaven and take down god, so to speak.

So the angels didnt "give up heaven" for this, they had no other choice.

As for the other angels, Im not too sure

Because visiting a big city, as a tourist, with an unlimited budget is fun, the only downfall of our system is it is held up on the backs of our workers, some paid fairly, some paid unfairly from the third world. The evilness of the system is the exploitation involved in the labour market.

Take the evil out of the system, and thats what heaven will be like. Fresh, vibrant, fun, yet a haven.

Because here, as humans, they get free will. In heaven there is no free will so you're stuck with the big daddy for eternity. Who would want that? Not me!

The details will still be there, the atmosphere will still be set, but the evilness will be neutralised. I don't know how, maybe by magic, maybe by miracle......but the magic atmosphere will still be there. Walk along a beach, under the moon, with a soft tropical breeze touching your skin, with that feeling of magic in the air. Alone, but amongst humanity. That peaceful feeling, that anticipation kissing your soul, thats what I imagine heaven to be like, and that's the humanity in heaven that the Angels favoured.

The answer to this question lies in Islamic and arabian mythology which is less corrupted than the christian one. In islamic mythology the guy who asked this question, meaning lucifer, is not an angel but a Djinn.

He possess free will just like humans do and due to his beautiful singing voice and music playing abilities, he was raised high up in the heaven to play music there.

Thats where he found out about god's plan to create the human race and after god paid attention to Adam 24/7, Lucifer the Djinn got jealous and unlike the angels, did not bow down to the human adam.

Thats why he conspired against man and god. Angels never rebelled cause they dont possess free will at all but almost half of the Djinn population took Lucifer's side and war broke out between them and the angels.

Djinn were defeated. They live in their own dimension and Lucifer has taken an oath to take as many as he can into the hell fire with him.

No, angels didn't have to give up heaven, I think they can come and go as they want, it is the demons who are stuck here.
