No system arises without turmoil. Capitalism arose from the ashes of feudalism with turmoil. The American Revolution, the French Revolution, to name a few. The socialism within one country revolution was contrived and failed. The former two were natural functions of conditions that were evolving. Slavery in America for example was bound to fail as it was a feudal hangover in an America that was rejecting a land based economy.

These are complex issues but it pays to understand the hand of history as it can be very enlightening watching humans forcing the natural processes, with disastrous consequences often times but more often than not, with disappointment.
