Why the hate you ask? Just look at our world and evil that is done to so many of earth's inhabitants. We have greedy, stupid people running this place and they are allowed to do so by our employees which they deem their employees. I hate this place because ego maniacs are running it. I do hope we have some major nature doom or a big fucking solar flare to knock the power out of power. Then and only then will egos be set aside. We are not evolved enough for the tech that intelligent/evolved people delivered to the governments of this world. I hope the ET's come and wreak havoc on this place.

It doesn't make me feel awkward anymore. Silence has a way of making people feel like they need to talk. I would prefer to wait until something profound comes up. People would be surprised the amount of communication that can take place with just body language alone.

I guess it varies depending on the dept. and region. I'm actually in an affluent area, and we are all career, paid types. I have opened up to various people, but have found that most don't really show too much interest and rarely engage me. I think they know they have no ammo to counteract my opinions, yet are unable to face reality. Most, co-workers and everyone else for that matter, would just rather keep their head in the sand, and continue to subscribe to the non-sensical info. they have been fed over his/her entire lifetime.

I have learned, the hard way, that unless you actually put "ask me a question." in the thread title, you will get blank stares and nose pickers. I don't know why, but any variation of that will just draw negative comments or accuse you of trolling, or worse.

You would think creativity in the BS posts would be encouraged, but unfortunately no.

Maybe some inquisitive soul out there saw your title and was like, "hmm, what am I thinking about quiet people that is so wrong? Maybe they are not all communist sycophant ass goblins." Then they click on this thread to find daily affirmations of an schizophrenia with multiple personality disorder .

There are some bright color's in this crayon box... but there are 50 shades of bland.

I do really well at reading a person and giving the lead to them on conversation. However in a place such as this, where like minded people exist. I engage more often than in real life. In real life i have to struggle to bring myself on theie level.

Now in a place like this when it comes to lurkers. I see MANY different reasons as to why people would stay silent. Fear, possessing knowledge, gaining knowledge, specific personality types...

I'm not sure i understand the point myself. I feel like you are calling out the silent types. However their choice of silence doesn't bother me. The purpose behind someone feeling the need to make small talk.. That's another story.

Its because they made this twisted notion accros the media outlets little by little implementing guilt trips, so both parts sit silent and dont dare speak to eacother anymore about anything

It's not that I don't like to talk, I can't be bothered talking to people who don't get it. I can't be bothered with haters, who immediately start the name calling because their intellect is in the double digit range and they can't formulate a coherent response.

I don't consider my silence a prison. I've found it to be quite liberating. I choose what I say, and to whom I say it, very carefully.

There are some on this forum, including you Travis, that I will (and do) talk to. Most people though? Meh. Not worth the effort.

I'm a lurker for the most part here but being an ac has a contribution to the reason why.

Granted, as much that i'm an introvert, i tend to find more peace in the times i'm by myself. I don't have to worry about other people pulling my mind out of something profound, mysterious, or wondrous with their bullshit talks of what they did for the day, what someone made for food, their little kids progress in school, a new car someone bought, politics they know nothing about, gossip, or who's gonna be next on dancing with the stars. I guess it's the small talk I despise.

Not to mention, the bridge between strangers and associates is the hardest part going through. Mostly because of trust, however I open so easily to those who already know how to dream and fly. I wear my heart of my sleeves, never hurt a fly, and speak only truth so it's easy for me to be taken advantage of. Not so much gullible as I am overlooking as I don't fair for confrontations. It's dust off my shoulders from people of the sort, which is plenty, i've come to notice.

Not everyone is on the path of knowledge and awareness as I am so relate-ability comes difficult to the average person too. Because of this, I sort of stood by a ''don't ask,don't tell'' policy while at the same time a ''Ask and all doors shall be opened'' philosophy. I would think the introverted tendencies would display this kind of thing to any onlooker considering our type is always thinking.

It doesn't help that I also sit on the edge of madness and that it took me 15min to type this out.

I love to talk. Anyone that's close to me would say the same to anyone else.

It's just that initial barrier I don't care to get around with strangers. Get me at a party with some beers in my system and my sagittarius comes out naturally.
