A senior police officer stated in front of the media that the state government is fraud. This police officer was thrown in mental hospital by his colleagues. I think this happened in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and the state leader is "Mayawati"

I have worked in a mental hospital for many years.

Never ever, become involved in the mental health system as a patient if you can help it.

Once they have their hands on you, they never let you go. Its a money making system.

There are people who need to be institutionalized, but for the most part, its a farce.

Drug addicts who have burned their brains out.
Murderers who claim insanity, but just wanted to avoid death.
Child Molesters who just need to be put to death.
Lazy people who just don't want to work
and on and on.

A lot of them think they can take the insanity plea and get out of jail, and end up back home in a few months. They stay for years and years trying to work through the mandatory classes and system to get out.

I personally know five individuals who have been locked away for over 30 years, and becuae they wont subscribe to the classes and system, they never advance back into the community.

I tell all new employees that I train, that the real crazy people are the doctors and administrators, not the patients.

I also tell them that they wont have to much trouble with the patients if they treat them with common respect, but they will have the most trouble with their co-workers.

Its crazier out in the communities than in the hospital. The folks in the community arent medicated.
